QUALITY ACADEMICS - Northwest offers 127 undergraduate programs and 40 graduate's programs. The business, education, geography and agriculture departments graduate the largest number of students each year. Career Services offers an "Exploring Majors" fair where students can learn about different majors on campus and find which major is the perfect fit for them.
LAPTOP - Every full-time student receives a laptop computer to use throughout the school year.
TEXTBOOKS - Northwest has implemented a rental program where students pay only $6 per credit hour for their textbooks.
SCHOLARSHIP THROUGH MONTANO COLLEGE
Northwest Missouri State University will offer scholarships to students from Montano that meet the scholarship requirements. Any Montano student that applies to Northwest will be considered for a scholadhip including de NIAS Scholarship, Academic Merit Scholarship and students that have graduated with an International Baccalaureate (IB diploma) may be eligible for an additional scholarship for the first year only. Northwest will award scholarships to qualified Montano students who apply and are accepted at Northwest.
-The renewable NIAS Scholarships shall be in the form of tuition credit that offers up to a $6,745 USD credit against out-of-state tuition for students that scored higher than: 65 on the TOEFL, 6.0 on the IELTS, 50 on the Pearson, 169 on the CAE, 3.7 on the ITEP, 624 on the TOEIC, a B on the IGCSE, 1119 on the GTEC, 1060 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT.
-Students that have graduated with an IB diploma might be eligible to get a $1,000 USD scholarship for the first year only and some credits might be taken depending on the scores and classes.
